In the spirit of spreading holiday cheer, Biddle’s EEO Division added a Toy Drive to our festive calendar of events. Donations collected throughout the week of December 11 will be distributed to the children of Safe Harbor, both current and previous residents.

Safe Harbor is a charitable organization providing housing for families in need. The tiny home community provides shelter and support for families experiencing homelessness or other emergencies and serves as a beacon of hope for those striving to overcome adversity. Earlier this year Biddle’s EEO Division forged a relationship with Safe Harbor through an Outreach Project providing resources to affirm our shared mission, “to support marginalized populations by offering assistance in navigating barriers for positive sustainable outcomes.”

Recognizing the importance of creating positive memories during the holiday season, we set out to organize a toy drive that would touch the lives of families residing in this unique community. The goal was simple: to deliver presents along with a glimmer of the season’s magic. This voluntary opportunity was a huge success! The call for new and unwrapped toys garnered enthusiastic support as we collectively donated 50 toys for the children of Safe Harbor.

This joyous exchange inspired our team’s collaborative spirit and commitment to community, ultimately emphasizing the simple truth: giving is a gift.
