‘Tis the season to be jolly, and our EEO Division embraced the holiday spirit with enthusiasm at the Arthritis Foundation’s “Jingle Bell Run” 5k fundraiser on December 9. We had a blast on the scenic route through the fall colors of Land Park, among the Santa hats, reindeer antlers, elf shoes and ugly sweaters. With a team of 20+, we need to recognize Angela, Phil, Rebecca, Zelda, and Fiona for their superstar placing. Well done, runners!
This holiday 5K served as an excellent opportunity to support a great cause while bonding as a team. As the nation’s #1 cause of disability, arthritis affects nearly 60 million adults and 300,000 children. For decades, the Arthritis Foundation has led the way in funding arthritis research to find treatments and cures, support kids and adults, and empower individuals in communities across America. Registration and contributions from this even go directly to fund important research, treatment, resources, programs, and a cure.
Whether cheering each other on, sharing laughter, or encouraging one another to push through the finish line, the camaraderie was palpable. Here’s to more festive adventures and a joyous holiday season ahead! #JingleBellRun #WhatWeDoMatters
