As diversity and inclusivity continue to shape our modern society, it is essential to recognize and celebrate the contributions of various communities. May is observed as Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, a time to acknowledge the rich history, culture, and accomplishments of AAPI individuals. We have the privilege of highlighting the achievements of two of our own AAPI employees.
On May 19, 2023 Nina Le-Tse and Marife Ramos graduated from California State University, Sacramento each earning a Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA).
Nina Le-Tse was born in Vietnam, has overcome significant challenges in her life, and emerged as an exceptional asset to our organization currently serving as EEO/AA Manager of Compensation and Data Analytics. After immigrating to the United States as a child, Nina faced the daunting task of acclimating to a new culture, language, and educational system. Despite these obstacles, her determination and drive propelled her forward.
Nina’s perseverance and passion for learning led her to pursue higher education. She joined our organization in 2002 as an intern and has continually impressed us with her technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and innovative thinking.
Marife Ramos, hailing from the Philippines, has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication throughout her tenure at our organization. Marife’s background and upbringing have instilled in her a strong sense of community, resilience, and a commitment to continuous growth.
Marife joined our company in 1996 and has steadily climbed the ranks to become Vice President of the EEO/AA Division. Her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to motivate and lead diverse teams have played a significant role in our organization’s success.
AAPI Month serves as a reminder to recognize and appreciate the contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islander individuals to our society. The achievements of Nina Le-Tse and Marife Ramos are a testament to the remarkable talent within the AAPI community. Let us continue to celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and the accomplishments of all individuals, regardless of their background, as we strive for a more equitable and inclusive future.
