Today the conference began with a special general session. Secretary of Labor, Thomas Perez, addressed the National ILG conference stating “we are all players in the orchestra of opportunity.”  This is the first time in the 32 year NILG conference history a sitting Secretary of Labor has addressed the attendees.

Also, this morning, the almost 1,000 EEO/AA professionals at the conference were inspired by Martin Luther King III as he shared about his experiences in the Civil Rights Movement.

Tuesday, August 5th

Our NILG team of  Dan Biddle, Patrick Nooren, Heather Patchell, John Piatt, Sa Lam, and Heather Sakamoto are all in Washington D.C. and are already in full swing.  The BCG Booth is set up and ready for visitors. Also, today Dan and Patrick presented their EEO Bootcamp to a full house.
