Almost in an instant, the global health crisis changed everybody’s way of life — both socially and economically. When a “work-from-home” set-up is no longer just optional but rather required, our staff and our clients can be comforted by the fact that secured infrastructures (such as the Biddle Portal) and protocols have already been in place and exercised years ahead of the current business climate. Consequently, when social distancing and shelter-in-place became new social responsibilities, BCG employees did not miss a beat. Biddle team members continue to serve our clients, stay productive, and remain connected through the ability to work from their respective homes. Needless to say, we are truly and deeply grateful that we are able to conduct business, as usual.
A member of our team suggested that we share pictures of our home workstations, just for fun. Sure enough, pictures with captions started pouring in. Some said that they have to share work spaces with their spouses, while others have more privacy with their office-converted rooms. Many became jealous of those who have postcard-like views outside their windows, but we all agreed that the best view of all is that of your kids (or pets) playfully going about their day. Pictured below are a few of the views of our work realities (at least for now) — probably also a glimpse at the new normal.
Biddle Consulting Group, along with its dedicated employees, are committed to serve the federal contracting community by continuing to address our clients’ needs and continuing to provide up-to-date information and resources through BCG’s Institute for Workforce Development (BCGi).
