The Biddle Consulting Group Institute for Workforce Development (BCGi) is excited to announce the launch of the new BCGi.
Created over a decade ago, BCGi has leveraged Biddle’s 45 years of experience and expertise to inform and equip compliance professionals with the materials and training they need to get things done right in all things EEO/AA/D&I.
Now we are in the process of re-vamping our offerings to bring them up to date and in line with the way people search for and consume information today. And it all begins with “BCGi Resources,” a first-of-its-kind, searchable, online encyclopedia of compliance.
Modeled on the functionality of sites like Wikipedia, BCGi Resources is an ever-growing set of interlinked Web pages containing information to help you understand your federal employment law obligations, particularly in the area of nondiscrimination. And each page is chock full of links to additional resources such as guides, checklists, sample documents, webinars, training videos, etc.
BCGi Resources contains the same materials used to train Biddle consultants, and the same materials our consultants use to service their clients. And unlike human beings, BCGi Resources is available 24 hours a day.
When you are the one stuck in the office at 11:00 at night trying to finish up an OFCCP desk audit submission due at midnight and you have a question, BCGi Resources will be there to help you find the answer. Our motto is, “What you need, when you need it, where you expect to find it!”
Internally, we refer to this first release as “Version 1.0,” because BCGi Resources is designed to be a living resource that is always growing, always expanding, always changing to meet the needs of our users. As materials are added and updated, we will inform the world through our Affirmative Action News blog and other means of communication, so you never have to wonder, “Is it there? Is it current?”
We are striving to make BCGi Resources comprehensive, easy to access, easy to navigate, and easy to understand, whether you are new to this space or a seasoned professional. Your feedback will only make it stronger. If you can’t find something you need, let us know. Chances are you are not the only one in search of that information or resource.
And the best part is, we are striving to keep costs low so that everyone has access to the materials they need, and no one is left out in the cold. The vast majority of BCGi Resources is free. All you have to do is register. Some of the content is restricted to paid members so we can afford to continue to develop and expand our offerings, but the introductory price for an individual, one-year subscription is just $500 per year. Organization-wide access (unlimited users) is just $1,750 per year, and we will offer discounted pricing for academic institutions as well.
I am very excited about this new phase of BCGi and I hope you will be, too. Come check us out at https://portal.biddle.com/bcgi/resources and stay tuned for more developments!
