  • Affirmative Action Boot Camp | February 21-22

  • Disability Awareness Mastery Course with HirePotential | February 26 – April 9
    The complex and rapidly – changing landscape and increased focus with compliance and EEOC on recruiting, hiring and retaining individuals with disabilities involves many departments in an organization. There are many areas of information needed to achieve the true inclusion of people with disabilities. Many of us do not have the training or background in this specific area but have the responsibility in the organization.The Disability Awareness Mastery Course provides a wealth of foundational information for those who are new to disability or who don’t feel they have enough information or education and want to increase their knowledge.Join your peers who are looking for improving their knowledge and wanting a strong foundational education training program that provides information on the business case and value proposition, etiquette and sensitivity, recruiting and on boarding, hiring and supervising, basic common accommodations and accessibility, improvement on getting people to self identification,culture, marketing, resources and more.
  • Revisiting the 2018 and New 2019 Directives | February 28
    The newly appointed Director of the OFCCP, Craig Leen, has been busy over the last year putting into place 12 new Directives for federal contractors and subcontractors. Will they affect you? Find out by joining consultants Cassie Shamber and Tony Mentessi as they review the Directives in detail in order to help the contracting community understand their meaning, know what they should be concerned about, and find out what they can expect from the Agency moving forward.
  • Foundations of AAP Development | March 27
    For new Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) practitioners or those who just need a refresher. This webinar will provide a comprehensive training on the fundamentals of Affirmative Action Planning and will cover the requirements of the regulations under Executive Order 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and Vietnam Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, 38 U.S.C. 4212. The presenters will walk through the necessary data to comply with the analytic requirements and provide best practices ideas for efficient AAP development and effective plan implementation.
  • California Fair Pay Act (Pre-Conference) | April 3
    Join us from 1:00pm – 4:30pm on Wednesday, April 3rd as Biddle’s Principal Consultant and member of the California Pay Equity Task Force, Dan Kuang, Ph.D., shares his experience in successfully assisting contractors through complex OFCCP compensation audits. Get a better understanding on how to ensure that your compensation practices are in compliance and learn some simple but effective ways to move the needle towards Pay Equity. Additionally, this session is beneficial for California employers who are interested on how to be in compliance with the new California Fair Pay Acts.
  • 2019 BCGi Summit: Striving For Diversity: Sure It’s Required, But It’s Also The Right Thing To Do! | April 4-5

  • Compensation Analysis 101 – Structuring Data for Analyses | April 17
    The old adage of “garbage in, garbage out” is never more apropos. Inappropriate data preparation is quite possibly the biggest source of invalid compensation analyses. Compensation analysis expert, Dr. Dan Kuang (DK) will take you through the necessary steps to properly 1) assemble and 2) set-up the data for a compensation analysis.  Importantly, DK will highlight critical errors that even experienced analysts make in data assembly and setup.
  • Foundations of AAP Compensation – Interpreting Statistical Results | April 24
    Advanced statistical analyses tools are now more accessible for all analysts, regardless of experience. While these tools can easily show whether a result is statistically significant or not, proper interpretation of the output is a totally different ballgame. In some cases, outcomes can be misleading and wrong. Compensation analysis expert, Dr. Dan Kuang (DK) will walk participants through the necessary steps so they may be confident in the conclusions of their analyses.
  • Requirements for Developing Functional Affirmative Action Plans | May 15
    Establishment or Functional AAP? Our consultants will navigate the advantages and disadvantages of creating a function-based AAP. The webinar intends to provide some guidance to help contractors make decisions on the most appropriate type(s) of affirmative action plan(s) for their organizations. It will discuss the steps and the requirements in securing an approval to create Functional Affirmative Action Plans.
