2020 BCGi Summit
April 29-May 1, 2020 (3 Half-Days)
Virtual Conference (Online)
BCGi's 2020 Summit, originally scheduled for mid-April in San Francisco has been re-scheduled, completely re-designed, and is going virtual!
Join us Wednesday, April 29 – Friday, May 1 from your computer for a new kind of three-day training and education event hosted by BCGi. Each day will actually be a half-day event (4 hours, give or take) to accommodate time zones from coast-to-coast: 1:00-5:00PM on the East Coast; 10:00AM–2:00PM on the West Coast.
Day 1 will consist entirely of BCGi's re-designed AAP "Boot Camp" for beginners and you "old hats" in need of a refresher.
Day 2 will showcase our guest speakers:
- Attorney Marilyn Schuyler will take a deep dive into the OFCCP's new Technical Assistance Guide for Educational Institutions.
- Joyce Ibardalosa, most recently of PG&E and now the CEO of Ai Inclusion, will lend us her expertise in executive communications to move from explaining AAP details to gaining meaningful commitment.
- Sheridan Walker, CEO of Hire Potential, will discuss the practical realities of disability nondiscrimination and inclusion in these quickly changing and uncertain times, and how to make sure our friends with disabilities are not disproportionately impacted.
Day 3 will feature BCGi Director Matt Nusbaum with an all-new presentation on how to talk about affirmative action. And Dr. Dan Kuang, BCGi Vice President of Diversity, Compliance, and People Analytics will entertain and amaze us regarding the ever-moving target of compensation analyses.
