(BCG), one of the nation\u2019s leading providers of consulting services regarding equal employment opportunity and affirmative action, created the annual \u201c<strong>BCG Impact Scholarship<\/strong>\u201d this year to be awarded each year to a graduating high school senior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for students with a demonstrable history of social and\/or economic justice advocacy who intend to continue their education past high school. BCG will select one student each year to receive an award of $2,500, which is meant to defray education costs and allow the student to focus more energy and resources on their continued advocacy efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants were asked to submit an essay detailing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Their past advocacy interests and activities, including how they became interested in their particular cause(s);<\/li><li>Their future plans\/hopes for continued advocacy initiatives; and<\/li><li>How the Impact Scholarship would allow them to continue their advocacy.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The next BCG Impact Scholarship application deadline is April 2021.<\/strong> Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/biddle.com\/bcg-impact-scholarship.html\">www.biddle.com\/bcg-impact-scholarship.html<\/a> for qualification requirements and submission guidelines.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2020 BCG Impact Scholarship has been awarded to Tessa Van Vliet, a recent graduate of Rosemont High School in the Sacramento area.
