Today the conference began with a special\u00a0general session.\u00a0Secretary of Labor, Thomas Perez, addressed the National ILG conference stating “we are all players in the orchestra of opportunity.” \u00a0This is the first time in the 32 year NILG conference history a sitting Secretary of Labor has addressed the attendees.<\/p>\n

Also, this morning, the almost 1,000 EEO\/AA professionals at the conference were inspired by Martin Luther King III as he shared about his experiences in the\u00a0Civil Rights Movement.<\/p>\n

Our NILG team of\u00a0 Dan Biddle, Patrick Nooren, Heather Patchell, John Piatt, Sa Lam, and Heather Sakamoto are all in Washington D.C.\u00a0and are already in full swing. \u00a0The BCG Booth is set up and ready for visitors.
