The folks at BCG are not only experts in their field but truly are wonderful, caring individuals who seek out ways to give to the community.<\/p>\n<p>This Spring Break, BCG President Dr. Dan Biddle said &#8220;yes&#8221; to an opportunity to help change lives and spend some high quality time with his 15 year old daughter. Dan and his daughter traveled with their church team of <strong>605 people<\/strong> to Mexicali.<\/p>\n<p>While there, the team:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visited and fed the homeless living in the garbage dump<\/li>\n<li>Passed out&nbsp;<strong>500 despensas<\/strong> (care packages with basic necessities and food items)<\/li>\n<li>Visited&nbsp;<strong>23 churches<\/strong> to encourage them and run a week long program for the kids and community<\/li>\n<li>Built&nbsp;<strong>7 houses<\/strong> and&nbsp;<strong>1 classroom<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Donated wheelchairs and crutches to a home for the elderly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-299\" title=\"Mexico Trip\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/mexicali1.jpg\" alt=\"Mexicali\" width=\"497\" height=\"384\" srcset=\"https:\/\/biddle.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/mexicali1.jpg 690w, https:\/\/biddle.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/mexicali1-300x232.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 497px) 100vw, 497px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>About the trip, Dan said,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt was an amazing trip. I really enjoyed spending the week with 50-80 children who came to our camp each day. I was amazed at how easily 10 young Mexican kids completely humiliated our ad-hoc high school soccer team!
