For several years he has been our lead support technician for the <a title=\"OPAC Office Skills Testing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.opac.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OPAC<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.criticall911.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CritiCall<\/a>, <a href=\"\/aap-software\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AutoAAP<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.c4test.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">C4<\/a> software products.\u00a0If you&#8217;ve ever contacted Biddle&#8217;s technical support, then you&#8217;ve probably spoken to Fred.<\/p>\n<p>Fred is known around the office not only for his ability to chase down solutions but also for his dry wit, fondness of playing billiards and eating dessert and, most importantly, his love for his wife Grace.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1107\" style=\"width: 410px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1107\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1107 \" title=\"Congratulations, Fred!\" src=\"https:\/\/www.biddle.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/congrats-Fred.jpg\" alt=\"Congratulations, Fred!\" width=\"400\" height=\"401\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1107\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">We&#8217;ll miss you, Fred! Congratulations on your retirement!<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Mike Callen, VP of Products, had this to say about Fred:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;Fred Huppert is truly one of a kind and we wish his wife Grace the very best as she now assumes complete responsibility for him.<\/p>\n<p>In all seriousness, I had the joy of working with Fred on-and-off since 1994.\u00a0 Fred has worked in sales, customer service, quality assurance, technical support and product documentation.\u00a0 He\u2019s been an absolutely indispensable employee and an all-around great guy with which to work.\u00a0 Fred is unflappable under pressure and simply conveys confidence to our clients.\u00a0 Those who work with him know that he was willing to continue to persevere until an issue was handled.\u00a0 We are fortunate that he was able to work with Jon White for many months and has inspired Jon to adopt that same customer service philosophy.\u00a0 While we will desperately miss Fred and his fantastic humor, we are very happy for him and his wife Grace.\u00a0 They have some great plans for the near future and this seems as though it will truly be a wonderful \u2018next phase\u2019 of life for them.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div id=\"attachment_1119\" style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1119\" class=\" wp-image-1119 \" title=\"Jon White\" src=\"https:\/\/www.biddle.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/jonwhite.jpg\" alt=\"Jon White, Technical Support\" width=\"200\" height=\"230\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1119\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jon White, Technical Support<\/p><\/div>\n<p>As Mike mentioned, Jon White has now assumed Fred&#8217;s role in technical support. \u00a0In the almost 3 years of working for Biddle, Jon has been involved in software testing, sales, customer service and technical support.<\/p>\n<p>We asked Jon to share about his new job at Biddle. He said, &#8220;I enjoy working for a company that values integrity. \u00a0That&#8217;s important to me. I feel very accomplished knowing that I&#8217;m helping people in my new technical support role. Some of the tech support issues are a challenge but I&#8217;m learning more everyday. Fred was very patient while training me and leaves big shoes to fill. However, he also gave me the tools I need to feel confident and be successful in my new position.
