Hello Affirmative Action News Readers,
On April 5th and 6th we hosted our third annual BCGi Summit in San Francisco titled “The More Things Change, the More They Stay the Same: Understanding How the Core Fundamentals of AAP Development Drive Diversity”. This year’s Summit focused on the fundamentals of Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, and diversity, providing our attendees with information that is timeless (and administration-proof). The Summit benefits federal contractors, HR professionals, and HR consultants by providing an opportunity to network, learn (or refresh) the basics of Affirmative Action Planning, and brainstorm company-specific questions or concerns with our experts. In a follow-up survey, one attendee said, “the Summit boosted my confidence in what I do for my company, and it allowed me to network with others and gain information about how we can take our company to the next level.”
Each year the Summit keeps getting better and better, and this year was no different! Thank you to our presenters for taking the time out of your busy schedules to travel and share your expertise with our attendees. The insights and knowledge that you contributed were invaluable.
Thank you to our attendees, without you this wouldn’t be possible. Aside from the incredible list of speakers, we hope you also enjoyed the Giants game and the evening visit to the Exploratorium…we sure did.
Lastly, thank you to Charles Schwab for providing the facilities. They were beautiful, and your generosity allowed us to make a sizable donation of all profits to the Charles Schwab foundation to be allocated to a charity of your choosing!
We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
Sincerely,
Patrick M. Nooren, Ph.D.
